Llama Llama Red Pajama

Rosie bought the fabric to make red pajamas just like Llama Llama for the kids.  I finished these in the beginning of December but she didn't like them and refused to wear them... well guess what... the other night she, by her own free will, CHOSE to wear these pajamas. :)  Yay!  So now you get a picture of her modeling the pajamas I made.

Shopping!

I ran some errands with Rosie in town and of course the kids couldn't help but notice the shopping carts that were just their size!  It was pretty scary watching them try to navigate by themselves while pushing a shopping cart... Lena insisted on looking everywhere except for where she was pushing her cart.  Thanks to all of those patient shoppers out there willing to watch out for Lena and Jimmy. :)  

Baby Boy Shower :)

My neighbor and good friend was so sweet to throw a baby shower for me since I'm having a boy this time. She is so good with this kind of thing and it turned out so so cute.  She had a cookies and milk theme.  I got so many cute cute boy things and can't wait to see our little man with all of them. :)

I made a shirt for Lena from one of my "old" (too short for me) shirts!  Here is her adorable self modeling it for me:

Play-Doh

We finally broke out one of Lena's Christmas presents the other day... Play-Doh.  I decided to make her a little bear... what happens when you give Lena a little Play-Doh bear?  She will ask for another bear to go with it... then she will ask for a bed for her bears... then she will ask for a blanky, then she will ask for "Chocit-mowk" for them... and of course they will each need a book to read before bed. :)

Like I said before... she loves putting her toys to bed. :)

Monkeys' Bed Time

For some reason Lena's FAVORITE thing to do with her stuffed animals is put them down for naps... lol, does this mean this is her favorite time of day and because she likes it so much she needs to show her animals how awesome it is?  Maybe!  She does often ASK for naps. :)

She usually lays out a little bed for them on the ground but this time she tucked all of them in my bed and got in next to them to go to "sleep". :)

Salt!

It's been so cold lately that we're just stuck in the house all of the time... so when Randy got on his boots to shovel the driveway we took the opportunity to bundle Lena up so she could get a little bit of outside time.  She was really excited about walking in the snow and pushing the salt spreader (well, fertilizer spreader being used to spread salt) with Randy.  So cute!

Bird House

Now that the holidays are over it's time to start checking things off of the list-of-things-to-do-before-the-baby-come.  One of which was to build a shelf for all of his cute clothes.  Off to Home Depot we went and discovered that they have a kids workshop once a month!  They were already finishing up when we got there but were so nice to give Lena her very own birdhouse kit to take home!  She had so much fun building and painting it. :)
