Tea Party With Eva!

Eva is so awesome and set up a REAL tea party with one of her little tea sets for Lena.  Here Lena is ready for prayer and Walter is eyeing the goodies. :)

3 YEARS!!!

My baby girl is now 3 years old!  I cannot believe it has been three years since we welcomed this cutie pie into the world.  I also can't believe how grown up she's gotten in just the last few months.  I feel like she's growing exponentially!  The more time that passes the faster she grows.  I love how patient she is with me and how forgiving she is.  She has such a sweet heart and a HUGE imagination.  She can play for so long by herself just imagining conversations between her toys and hands. :)  She is always wanting me to play buzz and her to play woody. :)

She totally understood the whole "it's my birthday so I get presents" concept this year and loved the attention.  She also loved the cake that Rosie so amazingly made for her. (turned out WAY better than mine would have).  She was so cute opening her presents.  I was so surprised how excited she was about her new outfit and loves to wear it. :)  

I'm so so so glad for the last 3 years and the experiences this little girl has given me and look forward to many more amazing experiences with her. :) LOVE YOU LENA BUG!!!

Walter felt left out of this post so Grandma was helping him with some cuddles. :)

4 Months

Four months has gone by and this little boy just keeps getting cuter.  :)  here are some things he's been up to this last month:
= He has gotten so much more interactive and loves attention.  Whenever someone gives him any he gives them a bashful smile and looks away, it really is adorable. 
=He still gets pretty gassy here and there but overall i think that's getting better. 
= he has found his feet and can almost get them into his mouth
= he sleeps about 4 hours at night and then is up about every two to three after that.
= he is in 3 to 6 month clothes...almost getting too big (long) for those.
= he loves being outside and in the sling. 
= he loves to talk and smile to anyone who will pay attention or even if they're not paying attention. :)

First Swim of the Year

Yay!  It's warm enough to play in the water!  Lena was so excited to get into her swimming suit.  Here are a couple of pictures of this swimsuit cutie:

Frustrated

Is something that Lena gets pretty frequently now a days.  She's very independent and insists on doing so many things "by myself".  Well the other day i was feeding Walter and she decided she was going to put her pants in by herself... Well, this proved harder than expected so she screamed and threw them...then she ran over to them and screamed and threw them again...she did this until they made their way into her toy hammock.  She then got shorts and then a skirt and did the same thing with each... I have to admit that i could not help but laugh at her cuteness as she chucked her pants again and again saying things like "why do you do these things?" :)

So Lena has discovered that she knows how to take pictures with my phone and has been sure to document all of her findings.  I can't help but smile at all if the cute things she decides to photograph.   Here is some of her best work: (my favorites are her feet, her McQueen, and Walter's head)

More Comollo Fun

We seriously cannot get enough of my awesome family.   And now that Walter loves the sling i get to join them on walks to the "teeter-totter" park where we used to go when we were kids...it's a miniature park hiding close to downtown near my parent's house.  It's fun sharing this fun with our kids and husbands.  :) 

And of course the traditional both-kids-sitting-in-Alex's-lap was a must.... I wonder how he's going to pull this off when Walter is old enough to join.  ;)
