June 2015

Since I'm so behind (yes I back-dated this post... it is now September)  I'm going to go ahead and let the pictures tell most of the story of this and the next couple of months... we'll see if any of them spark specific memories. :)

My amazing mom with cutie Edmund.  I love that she LOVES my babies. :)

So I felt so bad this day.  We had planned on driving all of the way to Strawberry Reservoir for a little family outing and so that Randy could scope it out a little for scout camp.  We got passed park city and Lena and Walter had been fighting and Edmund was crying unconsolably... I couldn't imagine driving the rest of the way  AND all of the way back and I couldn't take the stress of all three kids going CRAZY so I made Randy turn around.  We had a couple of silent (us, not the kids) moments as we headed back but eventually decided that we STILL wanted to do something fun with the kids... so we got our "entertainment book" out found a coupon to a place called Jungle Jim's.  Like a mini amusement park in doors (which was good because it was really rainy that day... another good reason we didn't go to the reservoir).  It was a lot of fun!

Walter, pooping in the corner.

Here are some pictures of Edmund in his fourth month of life. :)

Edmund and aunt Jessie.

Grandpa time!

Lena's absolute favorite part of the zoo was the fake dinosaurs... which got me thinking.  Let's let all of the REAL animals live in the wild and just build fancy fake ones for the kids to see... that's all they care about anyway... then, my least favorite part about the zoo would be eliminated... THE SMELL!

It was nap time... can you tell?

Getting ready for church... always a stressful time of life.

Walter has been so cute to imitate Lena in giving SOME attention to Edmund. :)

Doesn't this look amazing?  Well, I don't know if it tasted amazing because it was consumed by the scouts... lucky boys!

Gotta get the classic picture in Grandma's high chair. :)

Grandpa was awesome to hold Edmund a lot of the time.  He even got him to fall asleep!

We took a trip to Cedar City for a family reunion... driving long distances with three kids is hard... but it wasn't as bad as I expected. :)

Letter hats!

and necklaces! :)

I couldn't help but capture this cute moment of Lena and Walter sitting nicely on the back stairs eating their popsicles. :)

Big Smiles!

Almost liking the bumbo!

I really wish I can remember why Lena was mad at me... I'll take a wild guess and say it was because I told her that she couldn't play with a friend today... or have a treat... or had to clean her room... or needed to ask me nicely for a drink... take your pick.  ;)

We love when Rosie comes to visit!

Setting up daddy's telescope... which he ended up returning. :P

Lena's 5th Birthday Party

This is by far Lena's favorite present... She will rarely part with Duckling when it's time to play with the stuffed animals.

I think some of these pictures are repeats... but hey, at least they are here!

Had some friends over for lunch one of the days in June. :)

Look at this handsome chap so happy to be in his carseat. :)
