This year May showers killed April flowers. April was beautiful and I swear May was gloomy and rainy the WHOLE month. I love watching the rain and thunder storms from the porch... but I'm pretty sure that's not going to happen for another 2 or 3 years. Anyway, let's just say it was a bit rough (for me at least) since we were cooped up in the house again after having a taste of spring. It also doesn't help that Edmund only screams whenever we are in the car... so it's hard to get out and enjoy it. *sigh* but of course there is always good in everything so I'll stop complaining. :) Here are some pictures of some good (and bad) moments this month:

Good: Graduations are boring (for kids) so staying at Nonna's was probably better anyway. :)
Good: My mom is so cute and my Eddy is so cute and they are cute together. :)

Bad: For a 7 year anniversary picture I tried to force all of my family to get in the same picture... non of them wanted to... so they were all crying for the picture.
Good: We've been married 7 years and we still love each other. :D
Lena's Pre-school Graduation
Randy thinks that it is ridiculous that they call this a "graduation" but honestly.. we all know that it's just for fun and it is super cute! They learned all about animals this year and sang a couple of songs. Then Miss Holly just put on some music for them to just dance to... they had so much fun holding their little streamers and doing silly dances! It was so fun to see Lena dance around. Miss Holly also said a little something about all of the kids... mostly about who they liked to play with and such... Last she mentioned Lena and said something like "Lena, well she just really loves to play on her own and make lots of books" (she is always bringing home pictures stapled together like a book.) :)
Walter Semi-cooperated during the whole thing. :)
More bumbo time. He still (as you can see) just throws his little head straight back... we'll get there. :)
BIG NEWS! Lena lost her first tooth! Oh man I definitely get the mother-of-the-year award for how I handled that. I honestly did not realize that this was supposed to start happening already:
Lena: "Mom, my tooth kind of hurts and it's wiggling."
Me: (thinking there is no way) "Are you sure?" Then I feel it and it wiggled... I then gasped and jumped back.
Lena: Gets a terrified look and starts to cry...
Me: "Oh Lena, no no, this is a GOOD thing! Yes! This means that the toothfairy gets to visit... ummm... Randy, can you google what age kids are supposed to start losing teeth?"
Randy: (after doing some research)... "it's completely normal"
Me: Sigh
Then we go on to tell about how the toothfairy will bring her money and use her tooth to decorate her house. :) She was excited! After brushing teeth that night it came right out!
Walter, of course, wanted in on the picture taking...
Here are some examples of a typical breakfast time at our house.
Walter's new favorite cereal is "noofwadow" (marshmallow) cereal... and yes, after watching the documentary "Hungry for Change" I am again feeling like a terrible mother for letting them eat sugary cereals. From now on I will only by them for special special occasions. :)

Lena has been wanting to sell lemonade since January... I made her wait until it got hot. She made over $6.00!!!
