Princess party at the mill!

We did this last year and had fun!  It's a cute little fundraiser so we decided to do it again, luckily we were passing by and noticed it going on. :)

make-up

check :)

Tea and crumpets check. :)

crown and wand check.

Horse drawn carriage... check (without the horse this time)

Another day in the City with Rosie, Eva and Jimmy.  We decided to go the City Creek route this time and the kids loved it. :)

Wally happened to stand on a spout at the exact moment it shot up... he was pretty surprised but it was priceless!!!

Outside with Jammies... I'm a softy... sometimes. :)

Hugs!

Rosie with her cute flower.

Us girls!

More Jammies outside!.. man, I really am a softy...

Popsicles!

Wally with his Nonno. :)

Already investigating the contents of my wallet?  I'm in trouble!!!

Speaking of Costco cards... I think I have a winning picture... I'll post it sometime.

Ha ha ha ha  ha ha, could not stop laughing... Randy made this pillow when he was in elementary school... it's cute and all, but rather lumpy and dirty... we were really trying to de-junk so we decided to part with it... as long as we got a picture. :)   Look how proud he still is of it. :)

Water table with Lana. :)

Messy!

First "choccy milk" box.  This was at IKEA, and I have to admit, I was quite impressed with their food and how inexpensive and kid friendly it was. :)

Track hats!

Lena Turns FOUR!!!

We'll start Lena's post off with a picture of Walter on her special day. :)

And now, for Lena: :)

I cannot believe I have a four-year-old!  She has grown up SO much this last hear and has me smiling, if not laughing, every single day of my life.  Her imagination is WILD!!!  I seriously cannot comprehend how she comes up with some of the things she does but I love it.  Her most consistent form of imagining includes her two buddies (or hands) "Teen"(left) and "Watcha"(right).  They are constantly getting into trouble and Lena makes sure that I know "Teen did it" when "she" does something she's not supposed to... but don't worry, I don't have to worry about punishing Teen and Watcha... she is on top of that. :)  She also loves to read and write and most of all draw... if there is ever a writing utensil in site then she it hard to work drawing her cute little people.  The ones with arms and legs coming out of the smiling head... she is sure to include hair as well... most of the drawings consist of her, Walter, me and daddy. :)  I will post some of those shortly.  She also loves to make up her own songs and could sing forever! :)  I just love, love, love watching her play. :)

Of course, it is hard to get her to look at the camera while being still enough to take a non-blurry picture. :)

Sam has arrived!  Let the parties begin. :)

She begged for this umbrella the moment she saw it... I explained that she can't have everything she sees and that she needs to choose... oh, she was willing to give up all of her other choices for this and was making "deals" with me.  :)

And there's my whiny guy. :)  Always so quick to by grumpy. ;)  Eva still loves him though...  :)

And now for the spectators!  They make this party look SO exciting!  Don't you think?

Of course it's hard to catch Eva un-aware of the camera. ;)  jk, Eva!

Her new bags.... it was BOGO half off... I couldn't not get the second one right? ;)

Oh the beloved Llama, Llama books. :)  Oh how fun they are to read to her. :)

Lena with all of her winnings. :)

Sam with whiny guy . :)  So sweet. :)

Notice these "rocket" balloons are attached to the string of the star balloon... what is going to happen?
It ended up being not as cool as we thought, but still fun! :)

Family picture!  Oh my, Randy cracks me up with that dinosaur hat!  Lena insisted on choosing it as one of her five dollar store birthday toys no matter how much I tried to convince her how many other great things there were to choose from... Randy didn't think twice about why she chose it... it's great!  He had me laughing so hard!

Lena's Friend Party

I am terrible because I forgot to take pictures of the decor BEFORE they got messed up... oh well, next time... if there is one. :)

We had fourteen kids at this party and I probably don't need to say that it was pretty chaotic... but, we survived with all kids still in-tact at the end. :)  Lena loved it and I think all of the kids had fun too... hopefully!

We provided lunch since it was during lunch-time (cheapest time to get the bounce house. :) ) so we just borrowed the nursery tables and chairs from the church to use... it worked out great!

Surprisingly, this wasn't as hard as I thought it was going to be. :)

In the next three pictures I think we have all of the party guests... except for poor Sunnie, I just realized, because she came right after this... like I said... I'm no good with remembering pictures... I resolve to be better.

Lena on the bounce house after the party. :)

So my friend Hope made these adorable take-home bags!  Of course I gave them all out before taking a picture, but the boys ones looked like the hello kitty frog, they were adorable!  (Jimmy likes hello-kitty so he got a girl one). :)
