32 Weeks

Belly shot at 32 weeks

After taking this picture and looking at it I couldn't stop laughing because I noticed that Randy's tiny head made it in the picture... LOL... I seriously could not breath for a full minute and thought my lunges were going to burst.  He was sitting in the bathroom with Lena (potty training) and making fun of me for taking a picture of myself and making me laugh.

As far as the pregnancy goes... things are going great... everything is measuring on time and I'm not swelling up (yet... hopefully won't). :)

Christmas with the Williams

Kelvin and Becky came to visit us on the Thursday after Christmas to celebrate with us!  The big gift that Lena got from them is her Buzz and Woody (complete with hat) which she has so much fun with!  Her favorite part about them is Woody's hat... she is always sure that Woody has his hat and worries when he doesn't have it. :)

Another one of her new favorite toys is her new pink monkey!  She loves her monkeys! :)

This looks totally posed but she did this on her own!  Sat these two down right next to her on the recliner!  I'm so glad I had my camera ready!

Though they aren't shown in the pictures... Lena wasn't the only one to get presents from Grandma and Grandpa.  Randy got a much wanted "little giant" type latter and I got a FRUIT DRYER!!!  I'm so excited to start making yummy, healthy snacks with this thing. :)

Sledding! Sort of...

Lena got a new sled for Christmas and we decided to try it out in our very own yard for starters.  Randy tide a rope to it and pulled Lena around for a good 20 minutes.  She loved it!  It was so much fun seeing her excitement!

Christmas!

We decided to do Christmas with just us this year which we loved!  It was so much fun to have our own little family to celebrate with on Christmas day.  Randy ended up waking up first... WHAT?!?!?!?!  Apparently he couldn't sleep any more at 6:30 am... I noticed him waking up and decided to get up to... well, Lena happened to be in her not-deep sleep cycle and woke up from that!  We decided to let her stay up and to go see what Santa brought for her.  She was so much fun and loved opening all of her presents.  She got a lot of drawing type things and some farm animals that she loves to play with.

Around 7:30 am we were able to talk to Eva on SKYPE!!! Which was awesome... especially since skype was up to speed this time, with little delay in our conversation. :)  She is doing great and is so happy and cute!  It really made me ready to see her in person!  It will come soon I'm sure!

Here are some pictures from our Christmas Eve and  morning:

Christmas Eve:  Lena opening up her new jammies which she was SO excited about... in fact!  She was SUPER excited to go to bed so that she could sleep in her new jammies... she bolted for the stairs to head to her bedroom after putting them on.

Christmas Morning:

Lena's lute

Randy's lute... a new backpacking pack and a backpacking tent.

My lute:  Randy surprised me with a hot chocolate maker!!! It's been so fun to have hot chocolate from this fancy machine.  Another one of my favorites was the much needed, new silverware to replace the maybe-you-can-all-it-silverware that we paid $5 shortly after getting married. :)  Yay for rustless forks and unbent butter knives. :)

Two and a HALF!!!

This little one is officially two and a half years old!  I can't believe how much she has grown just since she's turned two!  I thought she was a genius at two, but she just keeps getting smarter and cuter and so much fun to be around!  Don't get me wrong... she is definitely a two-year-old and has her moments of frustration.  In fact, one of our new rules for her is to NOT get frustrated and ask for help if she can't do something.  She is getting better at this as long as she's not too tired or too hungry. :)

I've mentioned before that she has a huge imagination, complete with imaginary friends... the latest being named "Buno".  She will come up to me and speak perfectly clearly but I will not be able to understand a word she is saying... I think I need to get the Rosetta Stone version for Lena's very own language. :)  She spends a lot of her time now making dialogue between her toys which is so so cute!  Woody says to Buzz: "I can sit down, why don't you sit down?"  Buzz says: "I can't sit down, I need to stand".   It is so cute to watch!

Lena's favorite song as of late is the "ABC" song and uses that tune to sing her own versions all of the time as well.  She also likes "twinkle, twinkle little star" sung "Kwinkle, kwinkle little star" in repeat mode. :)  Another cute one she likes to sing is the "Clean up" song. :)

There's so much more to write about this little one!  I'll stop here for now and hopefully capture more of her personality in posts to come.

Comollo Christmas Celebration

This type of celebration would normally be held in SUNNY Tucson, Arizona, but unfortunately not all of us were able to make it that far this year.  So we celebrated at our house instead with the traditional breakfast meal with none other than my Grandma McLean's famous pancake recipe and real maple syrup. :)  It was so fun to have everyone together to exchange gifts and everyone was so generous.  Here are a couple of pictures of the present-opening fun. :)

 Check-up!  With Lena's new doctor's kit!

This is a REAL street sign... like the ones you see on streets!  Rosie and Alex had one made for all of us!  I'm so excited to hang it up!  The picture on ours is a jumble of numbers and equations, etc... just what Randy and I are in to! :)

If you haven't noticed... my dad is playing this xylophone in almost every picture... I'm starting to think that we should have gotten him one of those for Christmas. ;)

Suspence!  What could be in there!

Lena loves this new jacket from Nonna... when we put it on her she asks? "Is this my special jacket from Nonna?"  It's her favorite one!

I have to mention that Randy looks GREAT in these new shirts from Rosie and Alex. :)

Rosie was so thoughtful to think of our Little Mister for Christmas!!!  I'm so glad to know that he will be so warm in his car seat when he arrives. :)

Lena's new smile... love it!  She looks so mad. :)

Go Star Trek! :)

Lol!  Gotta love Alex's expression. :P

Yay for figuring out my camera's self-timer thing.  Of course the first time it didn't work and we did the awkward long pose until I figured out it wasn't working... ha ha!

And here is what we all ended up with!  We love it all!  I've especially enjoyed many pieces of bread toasted to perfection already.

I forgot to include this in our final presents picture because Lena had already started having fun with it.  My mom made this amazing Crayon holder for Lena!  She actually hasn't even had her own Crayons until now so it is perfect!  Under is her first picture drawn with them. :)
